Hello i’m

Josh Patterson Mayor of Roberta, GA

Josh Patterson began his tenure as mayor in 2026 after serving four years as a city councilman. He also serves as our trusted local pharmacist at Roberta Drugs, a business that has served Roberta and Crawford County for over 125 years. Josh earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Georgia Southwestern State University in 2013, followed by earning his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Georgia in 2018. He and his beautiful wife Paige have two children, Talon and Callie. They are members of Roberta Evangelical Church. His family moved to Roberta shortly after purchasing Roberta Drugs in 2019. When not working behind the counter or in the flower beds of the drugstore, the mayor enjoys hunting, fishing, cheering on the Dawgs, and hanging out with his family. Josh believes that leadership begins with servanthood and humility. He strives to treat people fairly and desires to live and work in a community where people take care of one another. He also understands that community leaders must use common sense and logic when making responsible financial decisions to ensure sustainability in a small municipality. Josh believes that working with our local resources and community partners, Roberta can be a prosperous community and a wonderful, safe place to raise a family. Philippians 2:3-4: "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.”
